Bio

Movement has been an integral part of Jessica's life from an early age, through dance and competitive swimming. After stepping away from structured sports, she took a variety of fitness classes while working in the fashion industry in New York before falling in love with Pilates as a sustainable practice. After discovering she had an autoimmune disease, she priorities shifted. She pivoted her career into the health world, returning to school to receive a Master's in Nutrition and completed a Pilates certification through Ellie Herman in Brooklyn, followed by advanced training with Erika Bloom in pre/post-natal, diastasis, and scoliosis.

What brought you to Pilates?

I was looking for a form of movement that made me feel strong but didn't simultaneously stress my nervous system. I kept returning to Pilates because the more consistent my practice became, the more body awareness I gained and the more challenging the exercises became.

Why do you teach?

To provide space for clients to connect deeper into their bodies and experience Pilates as meditative movement. I intentionally incorporate a strong sense of breath work into class to encourage clients to turn their attention inwards to find stronger stability, expansion, and calm within.

Fun fact

I also am a functional and integrative dietitian specializing in women's health. I love weaving nutrition and movement together to support people's bio-individualized health needs and goals.
