Bio
Having evolved with the practice from a young age, Caitlin’s approach to Pilates blends both classical and contemporary methods. Pilates has helped her lead a healthy and fulfilling dance career, and she feels passionate about sharing its magic with others. Caitlin completed her training with Balanced Body. She also holds a BFA in Dance (OU) and is licensed in Stretch Therapy (NSCA) and Dance Movement Therapy (UCLArts & Healing). No matter where you are in your Pilates journey, her classes are equally accessible and challenging. Practicing functional patterns, intention, and various movement qualities will help connect your mind, breath, and body on a deeper level.
What brought you to Pilates?
Pilates was a fundamental practice throughout my dance studies. Once introduced to the reformer, I started noticing tangible positive changes in my movement as well as pain relief. Plus I love the powerful synergy between the mind, body, and machinery! Pilates is now an absolute staple in my life.
Why do you teach?
To support physical and mental health by providing tools for people to inhabit their bodies in new and profound ways.
