Amanda Keller

Certified Instructor

Bio

Amanda first began practicing Pilates in high school, but it’s while studying dance performance and exercise science in college that she was introduced to the technique more thoroughly. In 2018, she completed a mat certification through Balanced Body, and soon after, a reformer certification through Stott. In 2023, she moved to Los Angeles from Santa Barbara to teach dance and Pilates full-time, and pursue a career doing the thing she is most passionate about: movement.

What brought you to Pilates?

In high school, I used to attend a mat class every week with my mom and always loved the way I felt afterwards. After taking a more comprehensive Pilates class in my college dance program, I found the cross training to be unbeatable.

Why do you teach?

I teach because I love helping people take care of themselves, and connect with their bodies. It is incredibly rewarding for me to witness my clients feel strong, capable, and challenged.

Fun fact

I hiked all 250 miles of the John Muir Trail.
